Background

History

Curatorial Exhibitions was created in response to the need to find more effective and cost efficient ways of delivering art to wider audiences.

Formed in 1987 as part of Curatorial Assistance, Inc., Curatorial Assistance Traveling Exhibitions became a separate nonprofit organization in 2000. Over the years Curatorial Exhibitions has toured more than 343 exhibitions to over 550 art venues worldwide.

Currently Curatorial Exhibitions circulates approximately 40 exhibitions covering a range of contemporary and traditional visual arts and cultural subjects. Most venue placements are within the United States and Canada, though nearly twenty-five percent of our exhibits tour to Europe, Asia/Pacific, and Central and South America.

Partner Initiatives

Our sister company, Curatorial, provides the artist and estate advisory and assistance, and shares our DNA which prioritizes exploring and preserving the diversity in the fine arts. Among our signature collections are the Solander Collection and the E.O. Hoppe Estate Collection.
