Our new initiative–an annual Curatorial Exhibitions Fellowship for Emerging Curators from underrepresented backgrounds in the Greater Los Angeles area–was introduced to expand the demographic and diversity of art leaders. 

The Curatorial Fellowship is rooted in our  commitment for showcasing and empowering artists and curators of different backgrounds whose art has historically been underappreciated, overlooked, or forgotten, and is deserving of museum-quality care, management and attention. We are building this initiative on our robust internship program designed to inspire creative communication beyond our team, and provide working experience and networking opportunities.

The Emerging Curator fellow will be offered a stipend and the opportunity to work closely with the Curatorial Exhibitions staff, a wide range of artists working across different media and the receiving venues. An open call announcement for the inaugural Curatorial Exhibitions Fellowship will be announced in the spring of 2025.
